Entrance Requirements
Age & Education
Applicants must have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification or be at least 19 years old. Those under 19 must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate in the program.
Application & Fee
Applicants must complete the online application, which includes a C$55.00 application fee.
Auditions
All applicants are required to audition and be interviewed by VADArts faculty. Auditions via Skype or Zoom may be permitted if an in-person audition is not feasible.
Literacy Test
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency by reading aloud during the interview. This includes reading 100-120 words per minute with minimal pauses and clear articulation to ensure understanding by the faculty. In addition to international students are require to pass the IELTS English Language testing prior to enrolment.

Experience
Applicants must have 800 hours of acting training or equivalent experience. This can include completing the Academy’s Acting for Film and TV program, a diploma or degree in acting/film/theatre, or other comparable training and experience. Applicants should explain how they meet this requirement in their application or interview.
