Biography

Joanne brings a wealth of experience to the classroom, both as an acting instructor and a working actor. Most recently she has been seen in supporting-lead and major principal roles for Hallmark, GACTV, Lifetime and various streaming platforms. Selected credits include Cranberry Christmas, A Christmas Star, Love at the Ranch, Open for Submission, Tron Legacy, The Mermaid Chair, Trophy Wife, Augusta Gone.  Selected TV credits include Motive, The Intruders, Arrow, The L Word.

Theatre credits include Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie for Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre, as well as productions with the Citadel Theatre, Chinook Theatre, Workshop West, Chemainus Theatre Festival, the Belfry Theatre’s ‘Sparkfest’,  among others.  

Joanne is also a busy voice actor. She is a regular on the Disney Jnr animated series Gigantosaurus as well as appearing in other animation series, movies, and VR games. She’s also been heard on hundreds of commercials throughout North America, and has worked as a writer, announcer, interviewer and producer for syndicated radio programs that aired internationally.
