  • “I recently attended Scene Study – Classic Films.  It exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in both classic film, and the interpretation of film scripts in general.  Our instructor, Kara Flanagan, along with our Teaching Assistant, were engaging, and ensured that all participants were included and supported.  As I had previously looked at scripts from the perspective of stage acting, this offered a fresh and transferrable way of diving into a script.  As a wonderful side benefit, it was fun with lots of laughs!”

    – Julie Gray, Actor

  • “I really enjoyed this class- a fun, low-stress way to hone one’s acting skills, either for a new actor who’s just starting out, or an experienced actor seeking to expand their repertoire or refresh their skills.  I particularly appreciated the variety of material we worked with, from different genres and styles.”

    – Anton Brakhage, Actor
